Kulpreet & Ed

Ed and I knew from the outset that we wanted to marry in an elegant country house, but we were really struggling to find a one which was not screaming out for improvements! Stubton Hall stood apart. From the simple yet elegant ceremony room, to the quirky chocolate bar and the beautiful light-filled orangery, the hall really had the timeless element we were desperately looking for, with added glamour!

“As soon as we saw the white ceremony room, we knew that we wanted to marry at Stubton Hall!”

We always knew that our wedding was not going to be a traditional affair. Edward is from a Polish-Catholic background and I am from Sikh heritage. We wanted to make sure that our wedding incorporated aspects of both cultures, and it was important that we selected a venue that was happy to accommodate this. The Stubton Hall co-ordinators were very flexible and we were not forced to adopt a format which didn't meet our needs. We were able to tailor things to ensure that our day was our day!

We were helped with all aspects of our big day. Our co-ordinator was so friendly and professional that we knew we were in good hands! She responded to all of our queries quickly and was also present on the day, which we thought was fantastic. It wasn’t until we watched our wedding video that we noticed she was also making sure that the train on my wedding dress was positioned correctly which was a lovely, personal touch!

Stubton hall was very accommodating with menus and we had a mix of both English and Asian canapes for our drinks’ reception. We also had a delicious curry buffet for our evening guests. The compliments on the food are still rolling in now!

I cannot recommend Stubton Hall enough. They truly went the extra mile to ensure that our day was bespoke. A truly magical experience which we wish we could relive over and over again!
