Stubton Hall was the perfect backdrop to our special day and really complimented our overall style. We didn't have a specific theme, but wanted the day to be romantic and laidback with our own little twists. Our focus for the styling was to create a relaxed yet luxurious atmosphere and our flowers helped to reflect this.
Stubton Hall is utterly beautiful, with such charm in every single corner…
We chose our suppliers from Stubton Hall’s recommended list, and they were all amazing and instrumental in bringing our ideas to life.
We were determined to put our own spin on the wedding where possible, so I taught myself calligraphy to write our invitations and place settings, and designed a hoop to which we attached wedding pictures of our parents and grandparents. In fact, all the personal twists we added along the way really ensured our wedding was truly unique to us.
One of our favourite moments of the day was the ceremony itself, we absolutely loved it. The Music Room at Stubton Hall is gorgeous and one of the reasons we fell in love with the venue; it lets in so much natural light whilst feeling grand and intimate all at the same time.
Aside from our ceremony, when the band hit the floor and opened with the first few notes of Luther Vandross’s ‘Never Too Much’, all (and I really mean all!) of our guests flooded the dancefloor! Being surrounded by all our favourite people with the incredible sounds of Drum ‘n’ Brass is a moment we’ll never forget.
