It is not only a great time of year to have a wedding, but also a great time to come to see the house dressed for Christmas. CHRISTMAS MARKET - SUNDAY 7th DECEMBER 11am to 3pm

Join us at Stubton Hall for our Christmas market on Sunday the 7^th of December. A magical celebration filled with delicious treats, local suppliers, and plenty of festive cheer!

Whether you’re shopping for the perfect gift or soaking in the spirit of the season, there’s something for everyone. We can’t wait to see you there!

CHRISTMAS OPEN EVENING - SUNDAY 14th DECEMBER 5pm to 8pm

We will be opening our doors on Sunday 14th December for recently engaged couples wishing to view Stubton Hall as their potential wedding venue. The Hall will be dressed with all of our wonderful Christmas decorations, to help visualise the perfect Winter Wedding. Tickets are free, but please click here to register your attendance.

Are you confused about the cost of a wedding? We've made it easy to understand with the All Wrapped Up at Stubton Hall wedding package for 2026 and 2027. For £24,500 in 2026 or £25,500 in 2027 ALL IN, you will get a fabulous Stubton Hall wedding for 70 GUESTS to include venue fee with exclusive use, two reception drinks, canapés, a three-course meal from our Fancy Menu, wine on the tables, a flute of Prosecco for the speeches, styled tables with beautiful flowers, wedding cake, a DJ from 7pm to midnight, evening food, VAT at 20% ... AND if that wasn't enough, we also include the Bridal Suite.

This package is available from Sundays through Fridays year round. Saturdays and the week between Christmas and New Years Day are also included at a small extra cost.

Black tie weddings are increasingly trendy, and Stubton Hall’s timeless elegance is perfectly suited to a small and sophisticated affair. Why not take advantage of the dark winter evenings as the backdrop for a reasonably priced, chic twilight wedding? But this is a wedding with an added twist! We’ve created a package for 70 guests with all the fun of a glamorous cocktail party, but none of the fuss of a traditional meal. For the a wedding that really oozes sophistication and style, why not book New Year's Eve? Stubton Hall looks its most incredible with twinkling candlelight and elegant guests. It's just one of those nights when everyone is feeling extra festive and wants to be glamorous. Our venue fee is a bit higher on NYE so that we can pay our staff a little extra for the long evening and late bar (to 1am) and we require a minimum of 100 guests, but if you are going celebrate your new life together and the coming of the new year with your family and friends, why not do it in the most elegant manner in the refined country house surroundings of Stubton Hall? That magic moment when our enormous tree reigns over the front hall, the sparkling curtain of lights graces the portico, the grand staircase is festooned with a glittering garland and there are candles everywhere is undoubtedly the most romantic time of the year for a wedding. Did you know that when you book a two-day wedding at Stubton Hall that you do not pay a venue fee for the first night? We encourage two-day weddings when there is availability in our calendar and only ask that you take or pay for a minimum of 12 bedrooms on the night before your wedding day. Staying the night before makes a relaxed start to your big day. We can organise intimate meals for your closest family and friends on the eve of your wedding, then on the morning of the wedding, there is no rush to get out of the house. Hair and makeup can be done in the Bridal Suite in your PJs while you sip Mimosas and breakfast on room service. Yes, we can also take care of the Groom and his friends on the morning of the wedding. Two-day weddings almost always work in a Thursday-Friday combination, but Friday-Saturday weddings are also possible in certain seasons depending on availability. Please ask us if you would like to extend your wedding celebrations over a weekend or a two-night stay.

Stubton Hall is always happy to host smaller weddings! Weddings of less than 50 guests are normally most cost effective on weekdays when our venue fee is less expensive. We know a lot about how to make any wedding intimate and elegant. Please contact us if you would like to discuss the ways in which we make smaller weddings special.

Stubton Hall isn't just for weddings. We can host Christmas parties, birthdays, anniversaries, family get-togethers, reunions of old friends or colleagues or events for just about anything that you might want to celebrate. It is time to kick up your heels with those people whom you want to celebrate life.

Whether you are looking for a grand dinner with an overnight stay or a leisurely lunch without bedrooms, we can host your event. Meals can be elegant seated affairs in our Orangery or Conservatory or casual hog roasts on the lawns. The choice is yours and you will have the reception rooms and grounds of Stubton Hall on an exclusive-use basis.

Our guideline prices were created to help you understand the price of an average wedding at Stubton Hall. While it is logical that these per head prices could increase depending on food and beverage choices, did you know that you can also decrease the per guest price? For example, you could choose to offer only one drink per person at the reception or less wine on the tables.

Every wedding at Stubton Hall is personally tailored to our clients. If you are worried that the per head prices are over your budget, please talk to us because we can often find ways to create a more cost effective, but wonderful Stubton Hall wedding just for you.

We've tried to make our pricing easy to understand, but perhaps you are wondering how to calculate the price of a wedding at Stubton Hall? Here are a few pointers to help:

• First: choose a package from our guideline prices. This is the per head price that you will pay for each guest.
• Next: estimate an ideal number of guests, then multiply the guest numbers by the per head package price. This will give you the cost of food and drinks for all daytime guests.
• Then: add the venue fee, which changes according to the day of the week and time of the year. Saturdays in the summer and December are always the most expensive days, but dates that are not in such demand could be much less. This venue fee includes daytime staffing, tables & chairs, linen, crockery & cutlery and VAT at 20% and exclusive use of the reception rooms and outdoor spaces of Stubton Hall for the duration of your wedding.
• Ta Dah! This calculation (package multiplied by guest numbers plus venue fee) will help you will estimate the basic cost for a Stubton Hall wedding.

Bedrooms are not included in the venue fee and are often paid by guests at check out the day after the wedding. Click here for our current bedroom rates. Of course we expect you to customise your choices and add on things like flowers, cake or evening buffet, but we like to do that in conversation with you. Please also remember that the prices on our website are guidelines. You may choose options which could change your prices slightly – but don’t worry, the choosing is all part of the fun!
